Research Assistant @ Bird Friendly Campus
I assisted with the data filtering, formatting, and exporting process for two years of bird collision data. I used QGIS to conduct analysis and visualize the data spatially.

UX Research Lead @ UW HCDE Capstone
I lead and conducted user research on beginner birdwatchers through field observations, survey result analysis, digital media analysis, and in-person interviews. Read more about the process here.
Data Validation | Winter – Spring 2024
Research Assistant @ Olden Lab
I assisted with assembling training data for a bird call classifier on BirdNet. I used RavenPro to annotate audio recordings and cross referenced suggested identifications with Xenocanto recordings.
Process Optimization | Fall 2022
Research Assistant @ Burke Museum
I worked with a small team on optimizing the process of using photogrammetry to 3D render hummingbird bills. I worked on documenting past experiments and the 3D modeling protocol.
